Another question for everyone, again any info is appreciated. This time the question is about Sabyr Imports in Noosa Heads Queensland. Has anyone had any experiences with this company or their products? Thanks again. :)

Thanks for the reply ron. I have not made any final decisions yet, but am giving serious thought to an Oni blade. They do look very nice, and the 1070 carbon steel blades have me thinking, with the right sugata they would be a very sturdy cutter.

Hi Leigh,

I’ve brought 2 oni blades from Nathan and his services are second to none.

Both of my Oni Blades "the Kiyomaro and Unokubi" are very solid and cuts extremely well, although the kiyomaro is a little heavy for me because I’ve opt for the 32in.

I’ve saw your post over SFI Ron and I feel your frustrations regarding these kind off things, its too bad Oni Forge good reputation went down the drain with these recent problems with delivery/services. Hope Loren at oni forge will fix these problems ASAP so I can order my next Oni blade

Regards :D

I have had the pleasure of buying two katana's from Nathan (Sabyr Imports), I must say I have bought katana's from china, japan and the my Cold Steel Dragonfly from the US so I've dealt with plenty of swords stores, I've even bought a few off eBay specials deals with Global Gear and others and out of everyone I have done business with Nathan has been the most professional trustworthy sword dealer to date I have personally done business with and delivery is always prompt, if there are any delays that are out of his control he is very quick to notify the customer, both katana's were received in a couple days from date of purchase wrapped and packed very nicely, I'm going order a couple MAS katana's from him early next year, if you are doing business with Nathan he is very friendly and more then happy to answer any questions, sounds like I'm giving Nathan a great wrap but I'm honestly just a very happy customer :-) http://www.sabyrimports.com.au

I've only ordered one thing from Nathan so far, and he could not have been a bigger gentleman.
It was only a small item, but his generosity was great.

Cheers for Sabyrimports.com.au
